When you book on this website
Your name, email address and phone number; the cruise, date, departure time and number of adults, children and infants; and anything you add yourself, such as the occasion or notes about dietary needs.
When you contact us
The messages you send us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, and the contact details that come with them.
When you visit the website
Like every website, our servers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting and security providers use it to deliver the website and protect it against attacks and spam. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How we use it
- to confirm and manage your booking and send you the pier, pickup and boarding details;
- to answer your questions and arrange special requests, such as a birthday cake or dietary needs;
- to keep the records we need for accounting and legal purposes;
- to protect the website and our booking form against spam and misuse.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.
We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. We use your data because it is needed to provide the booking you asked for, to meet legal obligations, and to keep our website secure.
4. Who we share it with
- The crew, captain or tour guide running your cruise or tour receive the guest names, numbers and special requests they need.
- Our service providers: website hosting and email (Hostinger) and website security (Cloudflare). They process data only to provide their service to us.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- Google Fonts: the icons on this website load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when the page loads.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, for example port or police authorities.
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. We use well-known providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
We keep booking details for as long as we need them to deliver your booking, deal with any questions about it, and meet our accounting and legal obligations. After that we delete them.
6. How we protect it
- The whole website runs on an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Booking records are stored on our server outside the public website, and only our booking team can access them.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] from the address you booked with, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within 30 days. Deleting your data before your cruise or tour may mean we cannot complete the booking.
8. Children
Bookings are made by adults. For child guests we only ask for the number of children and their age group, which the adult making the booking gives us.
9. Links to other websites
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and other websites are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
